PHRYGIA, Aezanis. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ (21mm, 6.97 g, 12h). Struck circa 25 BC. Bare head left / Zeus standing left, holding eagle and scepter; monogram to left. RPC I 3066; von Aulock Aezani 10. VF, black patina, minor adjustment marks on reverse. Rare.

A slightly rarer issue with the same monogram carries on the obverse the head of Potitus Valerius Messala, proconsul of Asia from 25-23 BC, thus dating the issue.
